Notice: I will be setting up a blog (yes, another one) for my Art. Just for my drawings, and progression, nothing big.
Tomorrow's halloween! I'm really excited. I might be going to Xander's place at 12, and meeting up with Luca, Chris, Alex and Tom, then at 5, I'm probably going to go to Jasmine's place to do some trick-or-treating. But that all depends on my parents.
Sigh.
Why does everything seem to revolve around them?
Also, my dad fried my laptop hard drive, so now I have no laptop. Instead, I have to use the family computer, which is so freaking slow. I hate it.
So yeah, that's all I have to say for now. See you later.

Salutations!
Just wanted to tell all that no, I'm not dead. Yet. But this blog does seem so, doesn't it? There hasn't been much happening lately.
The parental units have flown away to tour South Africa for about two and a half weeks, leaving my sister and I home alone. I'm not allowed to leave the house in any circumstance, except for when an aunt decides to be "nice" and takes me out for dinner or something like that. Thus, I am a prisoner in my own home. Lovely, isn't it?
I've been getting to thinking lately about what I want to do when I grow up. Right now, my life is pretty much meaningless. I mean, am I going to be a lawyer, a vet, a plastic surgeon, a temp, what? And when people ask me that question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?", I answer with "I don't know." People like Sonali and Jasz already know what they want to be. So do other people. They're pretty much set for life. I'm not particularly good at anything. I'm alright at Art, but not spectacular. My English is somewhat okay, but not that great either. I suck fail and Math and Science.
So where the heck does that leave me?

I am now an Editor for Perspective. Yay! Bad thing is, I'm in charge of editing Year 7s. Which probably means that I have the most work, because Year 7s start out not knowing how to write anything. I know that I didn't know how to write anything when I first started out.
Actually, I was horrible at writing in any way. Weird how I'm now an Editor, eh?
Jie Wei is SO lucky. She's editing the Year 10s. There's only, what, three people in Year 10 in Perspective this year? And I'm going to have a ton, because of the "it'll look good on your CV" crap. Yes, it will look good on your CV, but don't do it just for that. I do Perspective because I like writing. I do Interact because I like it. I do Choir because I like singing. What's the point of doing something if you hate it?
These CV padders annoy me sometimes.
And now I shall be off. I have an hour and a half of Art homework to do. What fun.
Toodles!

Those bastards.
Those utter, complete bastards.
What right do they have to just randomly speak nonsense and blasphemy like that?!
God, I hate gossip.

Jasz has just left, after a whole bout of laughter. She came over to hang out, talk to me, sing some songs, and do other stuff.
First three days of school have been rather... hectic, somewhat. I found out that I share no classes with Jasz, one with both Wuish and Sonali, and Science with Cat. Oh wait, I have Geo with Jasz, but we're sitting at opposite ends of the room. -.- Oooh, and I also have Art with Cat, Ash, Jia Yee, Mei Kei, Astina and Vik! Thus far, my favourite class.
I have a nice variety of people in my classes. Not too bad, but it could've been better. Oh well.
Also, looky here at what I found:

Ladies and gents, prepare to be scarred. I present you with:
EDWARD CULLEN TRYING TO BE SEXY

*screeeeeeeeams and runs away* Isn't it just- just- absolutely disgusting?
I also found this picture below, which made my day. I love it! Maria, this one's for you too! (:

Draco: OMG! MARIA'S BIRTHDAY IS COMING SOON! I HAVE TO GET HER SOMETHING!
Me: Maria? You don't even know her.
Draco: So? She seems like an awesome person! I love Johnny Depp and Incubuuus!
Me: Oh my god, you DO know her!

Tomorrow marks the first day of school.
I am so not prepared for anything. I haven't labeled anything, got proper stationary, or even get all my schoolbooks...
Do you know how I accumulate my stationary? I start the year off with a next to empty pencil case. As the year goes by, I find random pens and rulers cluttered around school: where I eat, where I walk, where I sit. It finds me. I don't know how, but they just find me. There they are, begging to be picked up and placed into a lovely pocket, or pencil case, or bag of some sort.
By this method, I eventually own more pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, markers etc than I can carry to school. It's a disgusting habit. Another disgusting habit of mine? Stuffing rubbish into my pencil case. Yes, rubbish doesn't go in the bin, it goes in the pencil case. And the best thing is that once it's in the pencil case, it never comes out! Ever! It's there, in the pencil case, for eternity!
I should really break these awful habits of mine. And, oh, you know what else is awful? Today, over dinner, we were discussing Chicken Pox. We discovered that everyone in the family has had Chicken Pox. Everyone except me. My darling sister chose this time to casually mention that adults that have Chicken Pox are twice more likely to die from it.
That shall be my death, folks. I can see the headlines now: Woman dies from mosquito bites, no wait, chicken pox.
Now I feel paranoid. It's also unlikely that I'll live through life without having Chicken Pox, so the sooner I get it, the better, apparently. I'm already 15 (well, nearly). Everyone I know has had Chicken Pox.
How the hell am I supposed to get it??
I feel so... worried.
On another note, I went for a swim and brought along my brand new Olympus underwater camera. So here are some photos. These can also be seen on Facebook, but this is for the benefit of those out there who don't have me on Facebook.

Random picture of this guy who was bowling next to us. He was damn pro, okay. Well, compared to me, he was pro. Actually, compared to me, everyone's pro.
Cat, who went out looking like a goth. The whole black shirt, black coat, long black skirt, black boots black choker thing. It really suits her, funnily enough.

The above is when I went out with Cat and Ash, to watch the (worst ever) movie: Dance Flick. Its absolutely terrible. Don't watch it. Really, don't. I didn't want to, but Cat and Ash did... so I was outnumbered. Ah well.
Anyway, the below is when I went swimming with my sister, Flory.

And that's all for today.
See you in school.

Just about an hour ago, I left the company of Will Quah along with my sisters and my mom. We went to watch the movie Up.
Up is possibly the best animated film I've seen since Wall-E, and Ratatouille, which, coincidentally, are also made by Pixar. Guess Pixar can do no wrong.
The day started at 8 in the morning. Yes, 8. Why would I wake up at eight in the morning on a school holiday? Blame my mom. I had to be dragged to Lake Club to do absolutely nothing. Well, mom had some hopes that I might go to the gym or something, but alas for her, I didn't. What a shocker. For those who know me well enough, you'd know that I despise exercising. The only tolerable form of exercise is yoga.
Went home, came out, bought a guitar, went for tuition. Just my luck that my teacher required us to deliver a speech today. Stupid fucking speech. Have I ever mentioned how much I despise public speaking? No? Well then, now you know. Public speaking is the reason why I don't do MUN or Debating. Though if I had to do Debating, I don't think I'd be too bad at it. It's just that I hate being forced to say something when it's pretty obvious I don't have anything to say.
I mean, what's the point of writing a speech if it's only for the sake of homework? A speech is supposed to be something you feel, something you actually believe in. Not some bullshit about UMNO and Teoh's death and all that. They fucked it up, so they can bloody well go take care of it themselves. Why should I give a damn? Or rather, I should give a damn (which I do, by the way), but why should I be forced to write a speech on something I really don't want to, and something which won't do me good, beacause I won't be doing it anytime in the future?!
Phew. I feel marginally better. Just marginally.
Anyway, I delivered the speech, royally fucked it up, and went home. Oh, hallelujah. I was picked up by Rach and Will. When I got back, guess what arrived for me in the post?

Oh yes, you are reading the blog of the new owner of Guitar Hero III. So now, I have Guitar Hero III and Rock Band II.
Thank you, Kris! I love you! <3
I tried it out, and it's not too bad. Hey Maria, maybe you can finally come over and try it out for yourself. Bring a couple of your friends, I don't mind. Heck, bring a certain someone, if you wish. *waggles eyebrows suggestively* I still think his name is a tad bit laughable, sorry.
We had dinner at home, delicious as always. Will being entertaining, as always. Then, Will took us to Tropicana Mall in his monstrous truck! At least, that's what my sister calls it. It's the type of car that you always see on the road cutting into someone else's lane, and sort of shoving all the other cars aside. Yes, that's Will's car. Wonderful, no?
The movie. Was. Fucking. Fantastic. It got a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes too. Definitely a good sign. I'll admit, I cried. I cried because secretly, I am a complete sap who's a definite sucker for romantic comedies. Romantic comedies like Amelie. (: And Juno! Oh, how I love those two movies.
It's getting rather late (not that I'm going to bed anytime soon), so I'll just be heading off.
Goodnight!

Reading Frap's latest post has got me thinking about those videos I've been meaning to post up but never got around to doing so, namely because I haven't actually bothered to go learn how to play a guitar, let alone get one.
Thus, I present you with:
Thus, I present you with:
Adrienne's Summer Resolutions:
01. Go buy a guitar.
02. Go learn how to play it properly.
03. Learn some songs. These songs:
1,2,3,4 - Feist
Bitter Heart - Zee Avi
The Call - Regina Spektor
Anywhere But Here - Tom Felton
Hello - Schuyler Fisk
Wallflower - Priscilla Ahn
04. Post them up.Bitter Heart - Zee Avi
The Call - Regina Spektor
Anywhere But Here - Tom Felton
Hello - Schuyler Fisk
Wallflower - Priscilla Ahn
05. After a few days of stewing, take them down again, due to nervousness.
There we go. I shall do these before the year is out.
Hopefully.
Fact of the Day: A twat, not twit, is the term used for a "pregnant goldfish".
